Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been providing food for some of our families! They get sent home with food and snacks for the weekend.
While they are in school, we offer free breakfast and lunch.
They have the option to stay after school in our after school program and received free dinner as well.
Although we have been giving them food, they need more. I am hoping to get dish soap, sponges, shampoo and conditioner and more for our families. They have recently closed the local food banks, so having these things at our school will be a big help to our families!
