This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have had many of these "My Weird School" chapter books in my class over the years. They are so funny. They are great for beginning chapter books readers and for students who say that they don't like to read. They are actually about a student named AJ who hates school, but then enjoys going. Each book has a different funny character that works in the school. These chapter books are an easy read. They are not intimidating for students who think chapter books are too long. The book in my class have gotten old or students didn't return them. I would love to add this entire series back to my classroom library.
