High-Tech Theatre Kids Build Professional Level Shows
Help me give my students the ability to build and run their own shows with the MacBook Pro just like theatre professionals. The portable sound system allows my students the ability to take their shows "on the road."

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My theatre students are the most creative, motivated, and curious group of young people I have come across. They love to learn about live theatre production and deserve to work on advanced tech equipment that reflects what the pros use.
The MacBook Pro will allow my students to build sound cues throughout the rehearsal process with programs like Qlab, edit self-made commercials with professional level editing programs, and research our productions at every level.
By having out own laptop for the theatre program, we can utilize and customize it for our specific theatrical needs. This prepares my students with real-world applications
The portable sound system will allow the students to take their show on-the-road. We love to go out into our community and perform for elementary school students and retirement communities. The portable sound system will allow us to better be heard by our audiences. It will also allow us to be able to rehearse anywhere with a portable Bluetooth speaker to playback our musical tracks.
Both of these items are essential for theatre students to have a top notch live performance experience and would be valuable assets to my students needs.
