Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The way students learn in our classroom is through learning stations. During this time, I am able to provide small group instruction while students are learning in small group or independently on a task online. Students are able to engage in adaptive instruction on various platforms such as iReady. While at the teacher station, I often have to use my own laptop in order to showcase a powerpoint or visual that relates to the instruction along with a tabletop whiteboard. Oftentimes, this is not convenient for all learners. It would be wonderful to have a standing monitor I can utilize for instruction along with the clicker and provide more table space for students and make sure all have access to the materials being displayed.
