it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My name is Alma Trevino. I teach bilingual first grade at a Title I school in which all the help we can get is really appreciated.
A big portion of the curriculum is taught using technological devices.
Instruction, practices, and assessments are required to be done using Chromebooks provided by the School District.
The use of headphones is really important because they need to block all distractions and focus on their work. Students at this level have a short span of attention so we need to provide assistance in order to get the best outcome from them.
A new set of headphones for my class is needed since this is a tool highly used in my classroom so they can be wasted in a really short time. Currently, they are using a limited amount of headphones because most of them are broken. I made a schedule to give a fair chance to all my students to use them.
My goal is to have enough functional headphones for my students to complete their work in the classroom.
