My Students

I love that my students love to share their projects. It is so exciting as a teacher to have your students teach the class. Not only are they teaching but they are learning. Our challenge is that not everyone can see what they are teaching because we do not have a document camera.

My high school students are absolutely amazing.

In my science classes they are kings and queens. They are engaged and love to learn and that is absolutely all that I can ask for. I want to give them as much as I can in terms of technology and that is where I need your help. Our school can provide me with books and some instructional supplies but we are unable to come up with funds for the extra technology pieces that will really make a difference. Science is the equalizer with a lot of kids and I am making it my mission to have the best group of students possible.

My Project

I truly believe that when students share what they learn more learning happens. I want to be able to provide my students with a document camera so that when they share their projects with the entire class- everyone can read the board. The document camera will project their work so that everyone can follow along as they present. It is amazing what one small camera will do. I know that it will make a big difference and allow even my shyest of students to be successful in the classroom.

My students deserve the best.
