Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a novice team with a strong determination to create some awesome machines and earn a greater interest in our community.
We began our latest season by cutting and drilling with the basic needs: hand drills, battery-operated saws, and Ryobi desktop machines.
Although these tools can certainly get the job done, it does not match the skill level of other teams with access to full machine shops.
Now with a few upgrades during the off-season that we have received in our shop, we are well on our way. Our drilled holes are equidistant from each other and are in the right places. Now with the new saw, battery charger, and organizer, our parts will be flushed and when not in use - stored neatly and professionally. These upgrades will help our image to hopefully encourage more students to join the team and begin their road to becoming the engineers of tomorrow.
