High-School Photography Class Working Towards Future Careers In STEM!
Help me give my students the opportunity to take their photographic journeys to the next level, by donating towards the cost of UV lights, an instant film camera, and more to support our STEM curriculum efforts.

My Project
Our Photography Program has had much success over the years, granting students the opportunity to learn digital photography and to showcase their works in museums and local exhibitions. With minimal equipment, we have been able to make magic happen, and it is my hope that with your support, our students will develop a deeper appreciation of the power of photography to serve as a voice and to become a potential career path.
I am seeking support to fund supplemental technology tools that will be used throughout various projects throughout the school year.
Our darkroom was dismantled years ago, but we still have lots of film left behind by the former teacher. I'd like to teach students how to preserve and archive film negatives using the Kodak mobile scanner listed. I'd also like to help students experience the nostalgia of film photography by purchasing a polaroid instant film camera with Bluetooth features, to introduce students of analog processes. Additionally, we were recently funded materials for image transfers and are in need of high powered UV lights to develop our creations.
The remaining items are things we have needed for some time now, memory card readers, a ring light for our portrait sessions, and a neat button maker that would yield for an exciting activity to make gifts out of our photographic works. I genuinely appreciate the ability to lean on community for support in our curriculum efforts and look forward to making this next school year our best yet!
