My Project
All my students work so hard throughout the year. They deserve a little extra something at the end of the week. Students will earn Opportunity Now Bucks each week and they can spend these bucks in our sweet spot in class. This will help students be responsible for their own learning and their own participation.
All snacks, such as granola bars, candy, chips, and other sweet treats will be earned by the students.
Our class focuses on teaching pre-employment skills. This sweet spot will help them practice good money management. All snacks requested will go into our sweet spot for students to earn. The sweet spot will also be used to feed any student that may need some food.
Some of my students do come from disadvantaged households. I did add two items that were also beneficial classroom supplies, like the paper cutter and glue. All other items are related to the sweet spot.
