My Project
In our science department, we perform labs almost daily; providing students with hands on learning experiences is essential for their success in the future. The goals of my project are for students to have more opportunities to learn with hands-on activities such as the periodic table model. As a young learner, it is important to develop the skill of differentiation; in other words, the students need to have a spread of different projects and assignments. My students are special because they are at a pivotal age in their learning. At the ages of fourteen and fifteen, students are discovering their skillsets, attributes, disadvantages, and shortcomings.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
