This project is fully funded
We are a high need inner city junior high school that currently has no technology in our classroom. Our students have no computers at home, and are left without many of the skills necessary to succeed.
With a computer, students are more engaged, do not mind doing drills on the grammar and math skills which they do not yet understand, and also grow accustomed to computer skills which more privileged students already possess.
If we could get just one computer in our classroom, we would be able to expose students to so many skills and opportunities that they currently do not possess.
A computer for our students means a new excitement to education and an opportunity to succeed that they do not currently have.
