This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The books that my students currently have to choose from were left by the last teacher in my classroom. They are old, falling apart, and my students do not have an interest in reading them.

My students deserve books that they want to read!

The titles I've selected have been recommended as some of the most high-interest titles available. They are also in multiple reading levels.

These new books will get my students interested in reading because they'll have brand-new books that they need and deserve. Literacy opens all the doors in the world and that starts with high-interest books.
