This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our third graders are curious and caring. They love reading and learning about events happening around the world. Time for Kids introduces them to places and people who are making a difference and inspires them to think about their own impact on the world. These articles help them to see the current events that are taking place that mirror the science and social studies concepts we learn about in class. They have real-world examples and people to read about. They can make connections and discuss outside of the school.
