This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I am finally back teaching IN person and I am soo HAPPY! I am blessed with 24 hard working, kind, and passionate 5th graders.

Last year was hard on my kids as they navigated the world of remote learning.

They are happy to have shifted back to IN person learning. My students are special because they are kind to one another, friendly, and eager to learn new concepts.

I love my kids because they are active participants who take ownership over their learning. We are a class family!

My Project

DynaMath & Time for Kids subscriptions will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them an access to reading MORE interesting and engaging articles across content areas. This gift will also allow my kids to be up to date with current events and see how Math is used daily in the real world!

Additionally, these subscriptions will allow my kids to have access to digital resources at home which is HUGE will allow them to extend their learning beyond our classroom.

I anticipate my kids to have wonderful conversations with their peers based on what they read. I also see my kids being more active in the world around them through the reading material provided by the subscriptions.
