My Project

We are looking for new, contemporary novels for our classroom library. These novels were selected by students themselves, and cover a range of different genres, reading levels, topics, and voices. It is important to have a classroom library that is representative of all students' interests and identities.

Independent choice reading is essential in the classroom.

Students have multiple opportunities each week to read novels of their choice. The goal is for students to develop a love of reading while also building their reading stamina.

Please help us to build a classroom library filled with exciting, meaningful novels!
