My Students

My third grade class is full of energy and enthusiasm. My students come to school every morning with a variety of emotional and academics challenges. I am constantly inspired by their perseverance and commitment to learning. My students have a great love of reading. They deserve to have a wide variety of books available in their classroom library.

My Project

Many of my students are struggling readers. They want to read books that are interesting looking and will not pick up books if they look like something a "little" kid would read. My students want to increase their reading levels, they just need more books to choose from to help foster their love of reading. These books will help keep my students interested in physical books instead of having them read on their tablets. A book in hand is not the same as a book on the iPad or tablet!
