My students are such kind and respectful people. I am always blown away by their good quality work, and their respect for their peers, teachers, community, and school. Our school was brand new this year and believes in holding students accountable for their education. My reading class, in particular, has really grabbed ahold of this sentiment and has been working really hard to raise their reading level and their confidence in reading!
The eighth graders at our school are preparing themselves to go to high school.

My Project
At our school, we try to make reading something everyone does! This is easier said than done, but it helps if we have the right books.
A wide array of books in the classroom helps students find their love of reading.
That's why I've created this project of books to be added to our classroom library.
I picked books from genres my classroom library is currently lacking because I want to be able to recommend end books for any student. Having a well stocked classroom library certainly makes this easier.
