Help me give my students books designed for students reading below grade level
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Bunner's classroom raised $447
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These high-interest books are designed for students reading below grade level. They feature controlled vocabulary and sentence structures, and subjects that are appropriate for their age and interest level. They increase the student's ability to read and comprehend more complex sentences.
The students I see for intervention have struggles reading and these books will enable them to read high interest passages at their reading ability.
The majority of the students I see are English Language Learners and these books have been created with ELL students in mind. This collection of books will make a great addition to our class library.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
