My Project

My students need high-interest books in Spanish! Many of our students speak and read Spanish. Our library circulation numbers are soaring, but all of our Spanish titles are always checked out and we need more to meet the demand. The titles on this list fit areas of the collection that are often requested.

My students are excited to read these popular titles again and again.

My goal is to build an inclusive and welcoming library that makes all students feel valued. Having books in the languages that our students speak helps show that we value them. Students also read more when we have the books that they are interested in reading. Our students are asking for more books in Spanish and I want to make that happen for them!
