I’m working on incorporating nonfiction that will appeal to the readers of a seventh grade level while also offering life lessons and goals! Having a class set of these novels allows me to teach with a higher expectation of reading a whole novel.
I am looking to incorporate novel nonfiction and literacy skills where students have to analyze text for meaning and then compare to the digital format.
This text offers deep conversations and an outlet for rediscovery of a love of reading and nonfiction. We will use the text to create writing and multi level projects that address standards while so giving by students the ability to evaluate real life applications,
