My Project

The materials I’m requesting in this donor project will help me better serve the mental health and social - emotional learning of my students. As a school psychologist, I spend a lot of my time supporting the mental health needs of our community and especially the vulnerable population like my students with Autism and communication needs.

I love working with children of all ages and hope to encourage positive change in their lives.

Recently, since the pandemic, many children are suffering with anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders that are significantly impacting their development. Many of these materials will help support their needs so they can continue to make friends, learn, and cope with all events that may come their way.

With your help, adding flexible seating to my office area will allow children to decompress, calm down, and feel welcomed. Wiggle stools, bean bag chairs, and an office guest chair will provide them with options when they enter the room and a safe space to learn and share their thoughts and experiences.
