This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of the items on my list will allow my students to engage in scientific inquiry hands on and messy. Experiments, projects, research, and debate. All critical skills in science and in life.

I wish I could ask for half a dozen microscopes for my students, it's so important for them to see and QUESTION for themselves what they see at the micro level.

Images are not enough, the impact is in the personal knowledge. This holds true for the discussion and debate items I'm asking for; Whiteboard paddles give students an opportunity to participate in a debate by holding questions (not interupting) and still have their thoughts heard in a respectful format.

The Qball has been on my wish list for some time. Kids LOVE to have physical engagement and yet some don't have the actuall voice to be heard in a large class. This tool would make it fun and engaging for all of my students to participate more in discussions. Scientific Inquiry at its BEST!
