My students attend an International Baccalaureate® (IB) World school in a large urban school district. Our class is an enthusiastic group of second graders who are eager to learn about the world around them.
Our school's mission is to develop internationally-minded learners that inquire, collaborate, and take action.
My students are developing their reading, writing, and math skills and working to become global citizens. However, my students so not have access modern technology available to them to demonstrate 21st century learning skills.
My Project
This year, I have started to build a mini maker space in our classroom. I started by using very simple supplies, such as popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and PlayDoh. My student really enjoy their time using these materials to build and create various structures. Our classroom has a nice start on our maker space.
However, I'd love to see my students explore modern technology by using 3Doodler 3D pens to essentially draw in the air.
I am requesting the 3Doodler Start bundles, as they are age appropriate and perfect for students who are beginning to learn about 3D pen technology. The bundle requested contains twelve 3D pens, filament, supplies, lessons, and everything we need to bring our imagination to life!
