Here's Our Spiel to Gain Some Glockenspiels!

Help me give my students the opportunity to understand music basics such as pitch and scales through hands-on learning with instruments. Both of the glockenspiels will add brightness to the music that my students create in their classroom.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We have a very diverse and talented student body that thrives when they participate in the arts.

We help our students become leaders through a well-rounded education that includes the arts.

Our students show pride when they perform for their families and each other.

My Project

With our large class sizes and limited instrument inventory our students cannot receive a complete music program that consists of all of the layers that music entails. An addition of these glockenspiels will add some vibrant tones to our pieces.

This pair of instruments will allow students to dive into musical terms such as dynamics, tempo, melody and harmony as a real life example.

Students will also enhance their cooperative learning skills by pairing up and creating music in duets, trios and quads that they can perform for their class peers and teacher.
