Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classes are in 2nd grade and would loved to be surprised. We are doing an on going science and social studies journal where the colorful paper would be used. We use sticky notes as an exit ticket. I give them a question and they write it on the sticky notes. The long strips I would be using them for spelling words.
My goal is for them to have fun and be creative by utilizing all the supplies given to finalize their on going journals.
The colored paper, the scissors, the white paper, different colored pens will add freshness and quality to finish their yearly project, and that they will finish their on going journal with pride and equality. With the end product they can continue to use until they need it.
Now they will complete their on going journals so they can have fun and be creative to continue learning. Because of the lack of materials that were not given to teachers, they are coming from another country, or cannot afford them, I will be able to provide it for them.
