Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with incredible groups of students who show up every day ready to try their best. Many struggle with reading, but they never give up—and their determination inspires me every day. I provide small group reading interventions during the school day, giving students targeted support to build their skills and confidence. I also run an after-school reading club where students can get extra help in a fun, low-pressure environment.

This project will fund small prizes to celebrate their hard work and progress—rewards that keep them motivated and remind them that their efforts matter.

I’m also requesting board games to help students build social skills and reinforce literacy in fun, interactive ways.

Every resource in this project will help make learning more enjoyable and help my students feel proud of themselves as readers. Thank you for helping them feel supported, valued, and excited to grow!
