This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When I think of my students, I think of 26 kiddos who are so willing and excited to learn. When I think of my students, I think of tiny humans who see the world in unique ways. They offer so much to me as I do to them, I learn from them every single day. They are great children who all face a diverse set of obstacles but show up every day to continue their learning.
Every student deserves a well-rounded education; that includes the resources and materials to do so.
My students will benefit from this greatly and I can't begin to tell you how grateful they would be. The materials on our list are materials that are used every day within our classroom. Supplies such as expo markers, glue, a sharpener, pencil holders, paper, and dry-erase sheets. These materials will help enhance learning and offer the opportunity for much more. The books on our list will foster so much creativity and motivate children to grow their ELA skills.
