This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our learning starts in the classroom from the moment the students arrive. They are eager to learn everything the world has to offer.
They are a group of Pre-K students that are eagerly looking to become independent individuals.
The first thing the students learn is independence. They are exploring the classroom and eager to expand their learning through play but it all begins by learning to take responsibility for their personal belongings. Students learn the arrival routine where they learn to put their coats, backpacks, and blankets in their personal space. This allows students to become responsible and take ownership of their own things.
My Project
These materials will help students pretend play in the dramatic area with baby dolls and show how to take care of our home and others. It will help students explore the music area and learn about beats and rhythm. Students will explore their artistic abilities to create projects and daily pictures to demonstrate what they have learned or already know. It will also help their teacher with some resources to help students with their counting exploration, science exploration, and other resources to help teach our young students in the classroom.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
