Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The PE Equipment will provide our students the opportunity to get physically active on a daily basis. With all of our youth having multiple distractions inside and outside of school, this equipment will be necessary to achieve our fitness goals, promote mental health and keep our youth fit. In addition to all of these benefits, this equipment, such as basketballs and volleyballs, will provide a physical distraction of fun instead of the constant focus of social media and overuse of the cell phones within todays younger society. We are hopeful that our students can adopt these fitness habits and bring them into their young adulthood.
