Helping Students Share Their Creative Projects

Help me give my students a class camera to enhance the learning process and share their artwork with our community.

My Students

Even though the pandemic has been difficult, my students have proved to me how strong they are. Many of my students continue to create, develop, and execute outstanding art despite these difficult times! Ranging from drawing, painting, and calligraphy!

However, I can see that COVID-19 has impacted how students show and share their artwork with the school and our community.

Most art shows are now asking for high quality pictures to apply for the shows. Before students were asked to drop off their artwork to be judged in person to see if it made it into the show or not. Even our school newspaper has asked for high quality pictures of student work to share their hard work.

Sadly, I see my students using their cell phones to take low quality pictures to apply for shows or put their artwork in the schools newspaper. I’m just glad to see my students are still trying to share their artwork despite the technology not being the best. Shows me how determined they are in sharing their artwork and creative projects.

My Project

I believe that the low quality images students are submitting for art shows and the school news paper do not show the intricate details of my student’s artwork. Using better technology is key in helping students share and display their artwork.

Using a higher resolution camera would give my students an advantage in displaying and sharing their artwork with our community.

Give students a confidence boost and encourage others to create, develop, and execute their own creative projects!

Sharing their artwork will build community, shows that students actively care and are engaged in their learning, and student work will be genuinely admired by all.
