My Students
My students are always happy and anxious to learn! They love coming to school and are curious to learn about the world around them. They are full of questions ready to be answered. They love being with their friends.
My students have so many different interests!
They love learning and exploring math, working with manipulatives and finding different ways to answer problems. They love reading books and stories that take them to a different world. They love learning about science and how this world works.
My class is full of hard workers and I want to do everything I can to further their education.
Covid has affected many of my students' reading levels. I have students who are below level, and would really benefit from phonemic awareness and phonics manipulatives this year.
My Project
These items will help students learn the skills they missed because of covid. The students will be learning words, letter sounds, letter recognition, and manipulating letters to help them make new words. The books will give me different ideas of skills I can teach my students using the letter tiles and magnet boards. This is a perfect addition to my skills based instruction for my struggling readings. It will do so much to help them learn confidence which effects their social-emotional well-being. There are many benefits to the items I'm requesting.
