This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are kind, creative, and empathetic young learners. I love the growth that happens in 3rd grade!
My students are becoming avid readers.
Every day after lunch we sit down as a class and talk about our "buckets". Are our buckets full today? Empty? How can we fill someone else's empty bucket? We then read a story focused on Social Emotional Learning.
These Social Emotional (SEL) focused books will help my 3rd graders focus on character traits such as respect, responsibility, gratitude, empathy, perseverance, honestly, cooperation, courage, and creativity!
