Helping Students Distance Learn

Help me give my students whiteboards, manipulative phonics items, and a bluetooth speaker to use for listening center time.

My Students

First graders are always beaming with pride and energy. The students who are in my classroom are always ready to learn. They take on new learning with zest. They are like sponges who want to absorb all that they can while they are in the classroom.

The children love having options in their day and these options help them feel like they have ownership over their education.

Centers, music, varying materials, and flexible seating allow for them to have these choices in their school life on a daily basis.

My Project

Students are learning in different ways right now. I want to be able to provide them with some tools at home and that I can use while doing distance teaching with them.

First, there are books that help to teach diversity and these are needed during these difficult times.

I have also included a quality speaker for listening to books for listening center time.

The manipulatives are included to give us more of an opportunity to use materials. We have to be creative in how things are being used at this time and the more I can put together for each individual child, the better it will be. Students will be using these items to help them learn and still have excitement about the things that they are doing.
