My Students
My elementary school, located in a rural, high-poverty area, is a very special place. Some of the most wonderful children in our country are right there! These delightful students are enthusiastic about learning despite the odds that are stacked against them.
The smiles on the faces of these boys and girls as they enter our school building every morning are heartwarming.
Their eagerness to achieve academically is only matched by the efforts they demonstrate everyday.
These kids deserve the best!
My Project
My students want to learn! Despite so many setbacks over the past few years due to Covid-19, these scholars come to school each day ready to take on their lessons with a positive attitude. They especially enjoy reading and are working hard to make gains to improve their reading levels.
Having an engaging selection of books in our independent reading library encourge each boy and girl to select titles that interest them.
By reading daily, student will improve their skills and work their way to achieving grade-level status in school.
