This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Since Covid, students have had to adjust to a lot of new ways of life and have dealt with lots of uncertainty. School should be a place where they can feel safe and can come to learn. Providing a carpet will ensure that each kid has their own designated and safe spot to sit on during instruction.
Headphones will also help them be successful when using various digital programs.
We currently do not have enough headphones in our classroom and therefore some students learning is hindered by that. Thank you for your consideration!
