Helping Students Be Successful in Second Grade!

Help me give my students flexible seating to help with social/emotional regulation, math and reading support.

My Project

The items in this project will help my students regulate physical and emotional responses to stress, giving them opportunities to work through tough problems. Other items will help provide a safe and inviting space for students to learn and work both independently and collaboratively. There are also items to help with reading and math concepts. Early literacy is proven to be one of the main factors for future academic success, so having as many resources available to use in my classroom to promote this is crucial. With limited school space and staff to help all struggling readers, I need as much in my homeroom to support them as possible. Math manipulatives and games have been proven to help students better retain and use mathematical concepts.
