This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Special needs students have been affected with all the challenges of COVID-19. Many students need sensory breaks thoughout the day in order to transition from one activity to another. Students were online for over a year and a half, and the consequence for this had a negative impact on their social skills and interacting with their peers. Students have struggled with perseverance, working together, and willingness to try. Adapted Physical Education is a class where students practice working together and to be socially and emotionally healthy. These game resources will ensure students can do so in a safe environment that encourages individual growth and relationships.
