Help me give my students ResCute dogs to help teach responsibility and a sense of pride. The ResCute dogs will not only greatly support my students with their social/ emotional skills, but it will also help shelter dogs!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Kulig's classroom raised $200
This project is fully funded
My Students
Our students are part of a special program within the school that provides them with the support that they need. Our students have emotional disabilities and behavioral difficulties which impact their daily lives. With the appropriate plans and team, students can become successful and join the mainstream classroom.
Our students are hard workers who require additional support to stay on track.
They have many goals which they focus on throughout the year. Many of my students reach and surpass their goals!
My Project
The 'rescue dogs' will make a difference in my students' learning by adding another tool to their emotional support tool box. They will be able to provide different supports for my students, such as teaching responsibility, building self esteem, and providing emotional supports during difficult times throughout the day.
Students will be able to take space in the classroom or another space with their rescue dog.
They will be able to go on walks and breaks, too. In addition to the emotional support, the rescue dogs will allow students to learn about being responsible. Students will need to keep their dog in a safe space and take care of it each day within the classroom.
The best part is these 'rescue dogs' will be providing my students support while we will be providing shelter dogs another opportunity at life.
