This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Fine motor skills are very important in a day to day basis. Our hands are what we use to write, to get dress, to eat and so much more. Pre-K students are 4 year olds who have not fully developed fine motor skills. By having Play Doh in our classrooms will really help. With the Play Doh our students can roll it, flatten it, and squish it and with that it will help the muscles in their hands. Not only does it help with fine motor skills but it helps with kids molding the Play Doh as shapes such as circles, squares, triangles and rectangles. They can even mold it to make letters.

We are also asking for the bear activity because it helps with different activities in one.

A few examples are for identifying colors and numbers and working on counting as well.

The reason for the fruit snacks is because our students work very hard and we love to reward the students for their hard work. All these supplies will not just be for me but for my whole team.
