Helping My Students Thrive

My Project

I love teaching at my school and I want to be able to give my kids everything they need.

I teach 5th grade at a title one school in Illinois.

As we all know, this school year will be full of surprises and I want to start off the year being as prepared as I can. Over the summer, I’ve been able to research things that work in other people’s classrooms and I’ve heard a lot about morning bins. This is something I believe my students would love to do first thing in the morning - come in, talk quietly with their friends and build some legos. This would help me start my day calmly and productively.
