it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The overall goal of our calm down space is to create a safe and supportive environment where students can learn to regulate their emotions and build important tools which will help them throughout their life.
I want to create a safe and supportive environment where students can learn to manage their emotions and develop important coping skills.
Creating a designated space in the classroom helps students enhance their overall well-being.
In this space, students can practice breathing techniques, mindfulness exercises, and other strategies that can help them regulate their emotions and reduce stress and anxiety.
While in this space, they will have items such as dinosaur bean bags with a matching rug.
It is important to create a space that supports kindergarten students emotionally and physically because it can help them develop the skills they need to succeed throughout school and for the rest of their lives. This will help them improve their focus in class, and feel safe in a positive and supportive learning environment.
