Helping Little Learners With Special Needs to Always Succeed!

Help me give my students fun, exciting, and engaging toys and activities, for the opportunity to strengthen those little fingers and improve their coordination so they can work on those pre-writing skills.

My Project

I have the best students ever! They love to learn, but learning in a formal way is very intimidating to some of them. Students who are young need to learn through play. Our Pre-K special education classroom is filled with energetic 3- and 4-year-olds who learn best through hands-on experiences to support their development.

These tools help children build the muscle strength and coordination they need for writing, cutting, self-care, and everyday classroom tasks.

Many of our students have developmental delays or disabilities that make fine motor tasks especially challenging. By using engaging, developmentally appropriate materials, such as scoopers, builders, gears and tiles, we can help them practice essential skills in a way that feels like play, not work.

These materials will give every student in our blended classroom a chance to grow, gain independence, and feel successful.
