My Project
Hello! I’m a Kindergarten Special Education teacher, and I’m seeking support to provide an iPad and an Apple Pencil for my amazing students. These tools will give them meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities—helping them learn to trace and write their names, practice letters and sounds, and access essential educational platforms like Clever.
With these resources, my students will build confidence and independence while engaging in programs such as Zearn, Lexia, and Epic—all tailored to support their individual learning needs.
Using the Apple Pencil, my students will build essential fine motor skills and learn how to hold a pencil correctly—important steps in becoming confident writers. The iPad will give my students access to their Clever accounts, where they can independently use educational programs like Zearn, Lexia, and Epic. Zearn supports their growth in math skills, while Lexia builds literacy by helping them learn letter sounds, digraphs, and sight words at their own pace. Epic offers a wide variety of engaging storybooks that match each student’s reading level, giving them the joy of listening to stories and building a love for reading. With these tools, my students can grow academically and gain confidence as independent learners.
With the help of this technology, my students will be able to stay focused on their academic tasks. As visual learners, they benefit greatly from interactive tools that keep them engaged. This support will not only enhance their learning but also help them build independence and confidence in themselves.
