My Project
In our second-grade classroom, learning to write is not just about putting words on paper—it's about building confidence, developing fine motor skills, and learning to express ourselves clearly. Many of my students are still working to strengthen the muscles in their hands and fingers that make writing comfortable and legible.
To support them, I am requesting student writing books and pencil grippers.
These simple yet powerful tools can make a big difference. Pencil grips help students position their fingers correctly and encourage proper hand posture. Used consistently, they can improve fine motor control, reduce hand fatigue, and lead to better handwriting.
The writing books will give students plenty of guided practice in forming letters, writing sentences, and organizing their thoughts. Together, these materials will support our young writers as they build essential skills that will benefit them for years to come.
