This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a kindergarten teacher, I absolutely love the joy, curiosity, and energy my students bring to the classroom each day. They are eager to learn, explore, and grow—and I’m committed to giving them every opportunity to succeed.

In our class, we use iPads for both small group instruction and important testing.

Unfortunately, we’re in need of essential tools: new headphones, iPad chargers, and a charging station. Right now, we’re sharing worn-out equipment, which makes it difficult for every child to fully participate and stay focused.

Each item in this project plays a key role:

Headphones help students stay engaged during learning apps, assessments, and read-alouds without distractions.

Chargers ensure our iPads are always ready for use, not out of battery when we need them most.

A charging station helps us stay organized and keeps all devices charged safely and efficiently.

Our Goals

To give every child access to fully functioning learning tools.

To reduce downtime caused by missing or broken tech accessories.

To create a calm, focused environment for small group learning and testing.

To build strong digital literacy and independence in even our youngest learners.
