My Project
My students all have different exceptionalities that make them very special to me. Some of my students have sensory processing difficulties. Having sensory products would benefit them tremendously. The room will be therapeutic depending on the equipment or activities used. The room needs different sensory products to address a student's unique needs.

I chose various sensory equipment to benefit the students in my class. One item I decided on was a Gymnic Physio-Roll Red Fitness Ball. It will be good for balance and strength for students with orthopedic impairments and a calming item for some kids to roll on. The next item that will be very beneficial will be the Junior PeaPod. It provides deep, even pressure to the body. It can give a cocooning-calm and soothing effect. Another item that will add to the calming effects for some of my students would be the vibrating weighted lap pad.
This item sits on their laps and vibrates, calming them. The other things are all sensory-related and provide different sensory needs to the students.
