Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Safety is paramount, especially when working on wood projects. My students will be using basic hand tools to create and complete projects around the school. Of course, we need somewhere to store all these tools and equipment so they do not fall into the wrong hands. That is why a lockable storage container is necessary.
Throughout the years, I have noticed that students have a difficult time operating basic hand tools such as screwdrivers and hammers.
My goal is to have them use these types of tools to complete safe and worthwhile projects. The gloves will help protect their hands from splinters and scrapes. The storage will also help with safety by keeping these tools under lock and key.
