Helping Every Child Feel Safe, Seen, and Ready to Learn

Help me give my students a printer, books, a lamination kit, and other supplies to encourage emotional strength and provide access to learning in meaningful ways.

My Project

I’m a special education teacher working with young children with learning and behavior disorders. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and many have experienced trauma. I believe in supporting the whole child—focusing not just on academics but also on their emotional and social growth.

I’ve added fidgets and social-emotional books to help them develop emotional regulation and self-awareness.

I’ve also intentionally included hands-on manipulatives to make academic content more accessible and tangible.

A printer and laminator will help me create durable, personalized learning materials that support my special education students’ unique needs. Laminated visuals, schedules, and social-emotional tools will provide hands-on, reusable supports that help students stay focused, calm, and engaged.
