Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are children that come in with no school experience, my classroom for most of these kindergartners is the first impression these children have of school, my goal is to provide comfort as well as provide an environment where children will thrive and be excited to learn. Bean bags will encourage young readers to read with excitement! A circle time rug will be important for projects, team building exercises and the center of the classroom for so many things that will bring these young learners together.

These students are special because my classroom environment will shape their future success in school.

My classroom is my students first impression of school and it is my goal to provide the best experience and education possible to make learning fun and provide an environment that is not only a safe space but will make children excited to learn.

It is my first year teaching and I am so excited to take on kindergarten. Helping me with this project will provide a space in my classroom for my students to read and work on projects in comfort and an encouraging way to promote learning.
