My students are creative and passionate about learning. They thrive on hands-on activities and love to work together to solve problems. I often observe them "playing school" and teaching one another the lesson of the day. They love all subjects and really enjoy working and learning together.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic this upcoming school year will be different.
Students will require more individual resources. I am hopeful that this project will help my classroom gain some of the resources that we need so my students can continue to learn and grow in a creative environment.
My Project
These materials will help my students have their own set of individual supplies to help eliminate the spread of germs. Before the virus hit, many materials were shared amongst students on a daily basis. These materials will make sure that each child has a set that they keep to themselves to assist in their learning.
We are unsure what the 2020-2021 school will bring, but with these materials my students will be prepared whether they are completing their studies at home or in the classroom.
The counters and dice will help with their number recognition and addition and subtraction skills. The white boards and lined paper will help with practicing letters and writing. I believe each student will be excited to have their own set of hands on supplies and I look forward to watching them use them!
